The city of Leon is located in the central Mexican state of Guanajuato

Leon is the seventh most populous city in Mexico. With a population of 1,634,917 including its metropolitan area, Leon is an attractive destination for tourism business and world class events.

Leon can easily be accessed because of its geographical location in the very heart of Mexico. The states nearby are Jalisco, Queretaro, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosi and Mexico City. One may travel by plane through the Leon´s International Airport (Bajio) or by highway.

The Youth Institute of Leon is a decentralized public institution of the municipality of Leon.

MISSION

Our mission is to foster the development of an integral formation in the youth of Leon, inspiring them competitiveness and social commitment through their active participation in the development of the city.

VISION

We are a generation of upright, competitive and socially participative citizens. And we, recognizing our diversity, know how to build consensus that benefit and contribute to the development of our society.
